Mike Menard was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Comlux America in February 2026, bringing more than three decades of operational leadership across aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing. As COO, he is responsible for enterprise-wide operations, including maintenance, production, aircraft modifications, engineering, supply chain, and quality. He leads with a focus on operational excellence, disciplined execution, regulatory compliance, and scalable growth.

Mike began his aviation career as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer in the Royal Canadian Air Force, where he developed a foundation in technical rigor, mission readiness, and team leadership. Following his retirement from active service in 1998, he transitioned into the private sector and advanced through roles of increasing responsibility spanning engineering, quality assurance, operations, and general management. His experience includes leadership positions in aircraft engine overhaul, operational excellence consulting, energy co-generation, manufacturing, and business aviation services.

Throughout his career, Mike has led complex, full-service maintenance and modification organizations, driving performance improvements in safety, quality, cost control, and on-time delivery. He has directed major business aviation service centers for StandardAero (KSPI), Dassault Falcon Jet (KILG), Elliott Aviation (KMLI), and Bombardier Aircraft Services (KTUS). Most recently at Bombardier, he oversaw six business units within the company’s service center network across the Americas, strengthening operational integration and elevating customer experience across all locations.

Prior to joining Comlux America, Mike led Colorado operations for SNC, where he managed large-scale aircraft modification programs and intricate weapons systems integrations primarily in support of the U.S. Department of Defense. In this role, he reinforced program execution discipline and cross-functional coordination in a highly regulated, mission-critical environment.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from the Royal Military College of Canada and completed the Executive Accelerated Development Program at London Business School. He also holds a private pilot license.

Mike and his wife, Linda, reside in Indianapolis, Indiana. They have two grown children, Matthieu and Gabrielle
